Getting Started with Moa
Here's the sequence for installing, migrating your existing browser data, and sending your first task.
Before You Begin
You'll need a Moa account and the desktop app. The app runs on macOS 14 or later and Windows 11, and the installer can be downloaded from the product site's download page. Since Moa itself is a browser, there's no separate browser version requirement to worry about.
Install and Create an Account
Run the downloaded installer.
Open Moa and either log in or create a new account.
Choose whether to set it as your default browser. You can change this later in settings.
Migrate Your Existing Browser Data
Importing brings over the context you've already built up. You can migrate your browsing history, cookies, favorites, and saved login information.
Start the import process from the onboarding screen.
Choose a profile. If you have multiple profiles, specify which one to import.
Allow system access.
Wait for the import to finish.
Continue on to password setup.
Safari can only be imported via file. Please upload the ZIP file created using
File > Exportin Safari. Files that aren't ZIP format won't be accepted through this path.
If you want to do this again later, use Settings > General > Import from Another Browser to bring in your browsing history, cookies, favorites, and passwords all at once, or use Import Favorites Only on the same screen if you just want to migrate favorites.
Send Your First Task
Start from the task page or the side panel.
Write down the result you want. The more specific you are about which site, which account, and what you want to receive, the more accurate the result will be.
Set permissions if needed. For tasks that involve handling files, specify the permission mode and task folder.
Send the task.
The task page is convenient for work that spans multiple sites and accounts, while the side panel is quicker when you want to carry over the context of what you're currently viewing.
